In the 6:1:2 Integrative Program students with significant disabilities learn with their peers in a general education setting. The curriculum is modified and instruction is differentiated to meet students’ individual learning needs. Students receive related services such as Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language and Counseling, and they are supported by a Special Education teacher and Program Aides within the general education classroom. The 6:1:2 Integrative Program enhances the education of all students in the school by building community and promoting a sense of belonging and connectedness.
